Gov Bassey Otu

Cross River State Governor, Senator Prince Bassey Otu has approved the constitution of the State Independent Electoral Commission (CROSIEC) with Mr. Ekong Edet Bocco as the new Chairman .
A statement dated August 15, by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Comrade Nsa Gill, said the appointment of the eight member Commission, “is subject to the confirmation from the State House of Assembly”.
Other members of the Commission are: Dr. Lawrence Edu Esq, Secretary; Mrs Rose Banku Atep, Mr Adoga Joseph Ipuole, Eutendala Eno, Barr. Daniel Edet, Dr. Eyo Otu Eyo and Jerry Adie Akabisong (Members).
Recall that Assoc. Prof. Mike Ushie had recently resigned as Chairman of the Commission and the State House of Assembly had given an approval for for the Governor to dissolve and constitute new members.
