Cross River State Governor, Senator Bassey Edet Otu, has expressed strong sentiments of goodwill to the former Senate Leader of the 7th Senate, Victor Ndoma-Egba, SAN, OFR, CON, on his 69th birthday.
The Governor, in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Nsa Gill, described the former Senate Leader, Senator who representied the Central Senatorial District as a distinguished scholar and lawyer, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, elder statesman, and nationalist who has strategically placed the state at the fulcrum of national development.
He said,”Your Impeccable credentials and sterling record of service to the state, even at the age of 28 as a commissioner, are eloquent testimonies.
“Your relentless commitment to board and committee assignments has never left anyone in doubt that, as a thoroughbred professional and a son of a distinguished professional and disciplinarian, a better Cross River State and Nigeria is always your priority”.
A life bencher In the Body of Benchers and a politician who believes humility is your watchword, you have demonstrated the courage and passion that gave birth to this present administration in the state, and this can never be taken for granted.
Governor Otu said, “While it is our sincere wish and belief that the Almighty God continues to endow you with the requisite knowledge and experience to plan and execute a Cross River State of dreams, we pray for good health, sound mind, and above all, the grace to be there for us.
“On behalf of my family and the good people of Cross River State, “we wish you many returns”.
Governor Otu wished Senator Ndoma-Egba who is the current Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE),, abundant God’s blessings as he forges ahead in life.
