Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has sent a list of 27 nominees to the State House of Assembly for clearance to be appointed Special Advisers and Commissioners by his administration.
The male-dominated list sent to the Speaker of the 8th Assembly for appointment included no fewer than two women.
The governor urged the 8th Assembly to consider the list for prompt action.
The governor stated: “I solicit your consideration and prompt action. Kindly acknowledge receipt please.”
