Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori, of Delta has urged Christians to pray for Nigeria.
He made the call on Monday at a special prayer summit organised by the State Chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) at Agbarho.
The Governor who was represented at the occasion by his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme said, “in Delta State, we understand the efficacy of prayers, so, do not relent in praying for Nigeria.
“Pray for a Nigeria where there will be job opportunities, a progressive and peaceful nation”, he said.
He expressed confidence that with God, his administration would be delivering on its mandate through the MORE Agenda.
Similarly, Pastor Korede Komaiya said that Delta is blessed with a Governor who has the fear of God in him, adding that the state would witness a lot of positive transformation.
