The new price adjustments in the Nigeria drivers’ license as well as number plates will come into effect April 1, 2025.
The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC), Rs 6.2 Cross River Sector Command, Joseph W Toby, reiterated this on Tuesday, March 25, when the Controller of Correctional Service, Cross River State, Richard Moses Williams paid him a courtesy visit.
In a release by the Sector Public Education Officer (SPEO), Mr. Samuel Otih and made to Pillar Today in Calabar, the Sector Commander thanked the Controller for coming to familairize with the sector command saying, the visit is part of efforts to realise the FRSC 2025 corporate strategic goals especially in strategic partnership and collaboration.
Toby intimated him of the recent price adjustments in the Nigeria drivers’ license as well as number plates effective April 1 and appealed to motorists to take note accordingly.
Earlier, the Controller in his speech expressed happiness at the warm reception accorded him and his team considering the short notice and stated that his visit was to introduce himself as required of him having recently assumed duty in the state and to further boost the already existing synergy between FRSC and correctional service aimed at maintaining the peaceful and secure status of the state.
Williams assured the Sector Commander of his readiness to collaborate with the FRSC especially in tackling the menace of road traffic crashes noting that the reforms in the Correctional Services has expanded their scope beyond custodial to include non-custodial corrections such as parole, community service among others.
