Again, the South South female and male Cricket teams extended their quality performances over South East and South West at the Abuja finals to emerge 6th edition Champions.
Earlier on Sunday, the South South female team defeated South East females by 9 wickets.
Glory Okolo took 4 wickets as she became the brightest star performer in the star studed South South team. Glory was named Player of the Match ahead of Peace Usen, Deborah Bassey, Inyene Umoh, and captain Jessica Blosamuanya.

In the male finals, South South scored 142 runs and lost 5 wickets in the opening inning while the South West U17 had to chase 142 in the 2nd inning but were all out after 114 runs.
South South won by 27 runs to lift the 6th edition Trophy.
Bright Edem scored runs off 54 balls, and his teammate, Godswill Evbaruovbokhanre took 3 wickets and recorded a maiden over to win Player of the Match Award.
