Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, on Tuesday, handed over a fully refurbished factory and equipment, as well as N2 million naira as working capital to Mrs. Ifeoma Itoro, a local food processor.
This mouth watering gesture, is in fulfilment of the Governor’s promise to support entrepreneurs in the state.
Recall that the Governor, while handing over equipment support to over 2,000 entrepreneurs at Uyo Township Stadium on March 11, 2025, was approached by Mrs. Ifeoma who sought his assistance for her food processing business.
Moved by her request, the Governor directed the Commissioner of Trade and Investment, Dr. Ubong Inyang, to set up her business.
On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, Mrs. Itoro received the fully furnished factory and equipment, including all the necessary machinery for her food processing business.
The Governor also provided her with N2 million naira as working capital to support her business.
Overwhelmed with gratitude, Mrs. Itoro prayed for God’s unending blessings on the Governor and his family.
The brief presentation ceremony was also witnessed by the Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Mrs. Emem Ibanga.
